ack ive been neglecting this… ok ok ok ill write.

My work had a Christmas party for the employees last week, I went because it was right after my shift ended and I stayed clocked in so why not? They had that roomba knife balloon game and some food. They also raffled off a bunch of gifts, I got a flashlight. A pretty decent one too not some crappy store brand one.

Bought all the gifts for my family members at the very last minute. But I got it all done, spent like 150 total or something like that which is pretty good. Bought a Stanley mug for my sister (that thing is the most white girl looking thing in existence I kinda love it) some lashes for my other sister with a Starbucks gift card, pants for my mom, and a bug a salt for my dad. Bought myself a Kindle Scribe as a gift as well. was like 250 after I applied all the discounts, turned in an old first gen fire for another 20% off. When I opened my credit card I almost shit myself after seeing that id racked up an almost 500 dollar balance in 2 days.

I passed all my classes too! so now my gpa is 1.69 up from 0.5. I’ll be retaking the class I failed my first sem so it should be pushed up even higher this next term! I got an A in writing and a c in yoga. The c should have been an easy a but I missed a bunch of classes and the teacher wasn’t clear on where the make up classes would be taking place.

Doing the math in my head it really seems like 3 or 4 years in the military might be the play if I want to go to school in California. As it stands it’d cost something like 200k and even then I couldn’t get in and on top of that I doubt id be able to do well with my work ethic as it is. A stint would only cost me 2 years effectively if I count the time to establish residency and would effectively pay me an extra 50k a year in college benefits alone if I count the discounts via the choice act as pay. Would also give me some time to grow and hopefully do a bit better. Literally, the only thing I’m upset about is that I’d have to cut my hair short.
