I’ve been thinking about what victory really means… yeah this is kinda like a part 2 to my previous entry…. Anyway, we consider victory to be a pass, or a win with education right? But is a pass really a victory? Say I have a class, I really want to pass it. But the strategy that I know will allow me to actually learn the material will take too long (yay procrastination, story of my entire educational career!) . I could cram it all in and pass the class, but is that really winning? None of that info would be retained and I would not be ready for the next class, I’d be cheating myself! Sometimes you might be better off making a tactical retreat, learning from your own missteps and trying again. This time actually learning, and winning.
