the more I think about the more I come to the conclusion that all the real “issues” with ai and its impact on society and our wellbeing come down to just…. capitalism. If it keeps going at its current pace and actually gets implemented properly it could easily be the biggest value generator ever to grade humanity. Making work obsolete while also making things basically free to produce… But with how corporations are run today, that value belongs to the shareholders. So you continue raising prices while costs are basically zero.
