Today was sorta a haze, it was Halloween but there isn’t really anything notable about it other than that. Went to my workplace to buy a gift for my mom, she didn’t answer my texts so I didn’t get her anything, will probably buy it tomorrow. They had an employee sale but that’s over now. Not a big deal as my discount is still 50% either way. <\/p>\n
I think ima go with the mission bow, funny how I originally wanted to go with a 250 dollar bass pro bow and now I’m about to spend 500 on a bow. but as long as it shoots right? Probably still going to get it it fit at my work since the discount is bigger. The only sad part is that it’s not pink. <\/p>\n
My forge came yesterday, was able to melt down a few heatsinks, and finally make a few ingots. Still need to coat the kwool so It actually lasts and doesn’t give me cancer. the tongs are also super sketchy, i don’t like pouring like that. Makes me want to finish my helium tank forge since it’d be bigger and I’ll have everything once I get the refractory for the smaller one. <\/p>\n
I think I’m going to either get a pharmacy job or try to find something in hospitality to do during the week while keeping my current job for the weekends, at least for the time being. I haven’t exploited the discount enough yet. But at the same time, I want more socialization and I don’t get a ton of interaction at my current department. Walgreens has a pharmtech apprenticeship program that I applied to. Would give credits which is cool. Also might apply to a few other pharmacies to see if I can get a job. Also might apply at a few hotels, work front desk, or something. <\/p>\n
Need to follow up on that karting thing. really I want to race actual cars but this seems like a nice medium till I get my own car. Or maybe a motorcycle, idk. Will need a car either way. <\/p>\n
