the sem is about to wrap up… all I need to do is to do the makeup yoga papers and polish my second writing paper. I also need to go to the tutoring sessions so I can tick a box off. assuming I get all the attendance things dealt with I should round out this sem with all as. I only took 5 credits, but it’s still something! well, that’s a lie I took math95 (int alg) again but got dragged through the mud with factoring… again. so I dropped the class. If all goes well this should pump my gpa from 0.5 to 1.85. I plan on retaking comm next sem so that should pump my GPA even higher when I pass it.
It still kind of feels off though, like I’m still not truly ready. I’ve been done with hair school for a year now and still haven’t gotten licensed, even though it only takes a little studying. also need to finish the water stuff that isn’t even hard. I’m probably going to try and finish both of those. Still considering trying to join the USAF or Coast Guard again. leaning towards CG but if I can get a 20k bonus for a comptia a+ I might try the af instead. It really depends on whether they’ll accept me as being off meds for 2 years or not. I think it would be a good opportunity to reset. If I am able to join and all the stars align right, I’ll be stationed in California when my contract expires, that means I’ll be able to claim an exemption for in-state tuition, which the GI bill will cover. If I can get good grades at a CCC combined with veteran status I should be able to get into any state school I want. (UCB or UCLA) And have it all be paid for (this would cost over 150 grand otherwise and even being able to do it if I wanted would be a stretch). If the stars don’t align I still get my college paid for and can still maybe qualify for yellow ribbon at a CA school. Worst case I just go to an Oregon school or live in California for a year before going to school.
I stopped taking my accutane pills and missed my appt. I need to call to schedule a new one, taking 2 a day really isn’t working for me because I struggle to drag myself out of bed in the morning and can’t eat fat with the first dose, this usually results in me not absorbing it or not taking it at all. Not that I really need it. The fact that i can’t sugar my legs is honestly more annoying than the bacne.
Oh yeah, I shave my legs now, I haven’t done it in a few days so it’s growing out again but I honestly can’t stand the thought of letting them get hairy again. The only downside is that I use a de razor and it’s really hard to shave my knees without slicing them up. So I usually end up skipping them, it looks kinda bad. being able to sugar would hopefully fix that. But since I’m on Accutane, I can’t do that without ripping my skin off.
Might try and do some yoga\/go on a run tonight. It’s raining but I don’t really mind.
