This week was wild, but i have a lot in my backlog that i need to write, but this will mostly be focused on this week because that’s what’s most fresh. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A couple of weeks ago, I went out with my supervisor and one of his friends at work; he’s basically the closest thing I have to a friend here. Was climbing and the bookstore. When we were in the car, we were talking about people at the unit. Apparently, the other non-rate we were with started hooking up with one of the cses. Kinda figured that’s why she was coming to work, so done up suddenly. He basically stopped talking to him during this time and was really mad about it. He also broke his hand and used it as an excuse to shitbag. He told me how he isn’t gonna miss him and how he doesn’t wanna hang out anymore, but how he will miss me? I feel like that’s BS, though, if he truly didnt care, he wouldn’t be bitching about him so much. He then asked me what I thought about him leaving, and I said I didn’t really know, and that I don’t really get attached to people. That wasn’t me trying to be mean, it’s just the truth.
The workload leaving drydock was kinda obscene; I was easily clearing 90-hour weeks, and then I went straight into mess cooking. But that was kinda a blessing in disguise as it gave me time to work on my classes. Especially after falling behind, I was able to catch up. Unfortunatly i relaxed too much and fell behind again, and now in a real tough situation. I had a plan laid out to get caught up and prepped for a midterm. But some bad things happened on the boat, and now I have to figure out how I am going to salvage this class at this point. I cannot afford another W on my transcript. I think im going to switch schools too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also turns out I’m not going to A school till next year. Honestly, this is kinda what I wanted. I didn’t wanna sabotage myself, but I still wanted to go on patrol. I did everything in my power to make sure I went, including contacting the RFMC indirectly, and it turns out it’s not happening next FY. And in the end, I’m probably getting a summer in Seattle anyway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I fucked up the payments on my AMEX, so I need to make sure that doesn’t get banned. I’m also considering getting my first ‘adult’ watch for when I go to school and can’t use my Apple Watch anymore. I’ll write a draft about the incident because i want to document this while it’s still hot in my mind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
