The past few months have been wild and i wish i wrote more, I feel like chatgpt has replaced a lot of my reflection capacity and i sorta hate that, because it denies me the written record that I like. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was kinda dissapointed when our patrol got cancelled because the north pole sounded cool and i kinda do enjoy being underway. But im honestly so happy im here in hindsight. I felt like dry dock had robbed me of my chance to live in Seattle, but now i get a lot of that back. My relationships with people at work and with civilians has been improving. I go climbing with people from work several times a week and occasionally do other stuff too. I am going to someones going away party tonight. Theyre basically the last reminant of my group\/. Its just me now and its kinda weird being senior enough where i feel like im basically left alone. Ive kinda joined a kig group too, which indirectly led to me having an intimate encounter with another guy. I met him again maybe a month later and it didnt go well but is what it is. im probably gay ish. Ive been riding my scooter and transit all over the city and spend all my time in cafes. i eat on the boat and hate my roommate. Knowing my time here is limited is really saddening to me but i also know im overstaying my usefulness to myself at this unit. i need to progress but i feel like im starting to build something here that i don’t want to lose. The idea that that could happen was inconceivable a year ago. I left Portland with minimal reservations and id lived there for over a decade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
