I guess I didn’t give much context to that last post. I didn’t bother looking at the date, but it was a while ago. I still am in a somewhat dark place, but it could be worse. I’ve gotten context over the past week that has changed my long-term planning significantly. At first, it was just a hunch that I thought was like a 0.1% chance. My supervisor said to give it more credence than I was. Turns out he was right to say that; every data point I’ve gotten has reinforced that theory. To the point of someone loosely involved in the process flat out, saying I have a date in July. I was fully planning for another year here, and I was somewhat looking forward to it. Now thats all on its head, its all but confirmed now in my head that ill go if everything goes smoothly.
